SPIRITUAL LIFE

Strengthen your walk with God.

FOCUS ON THE WORD OF GOD

The Word of God is central to everything we do at CBBI. Our chapel speakers are men who love the Bible, and preach unapologetically of Biblical truth. Devotional times challenge each student to diligently pursue a personal walk with God. Each class strengthens our students’ faith through personal Bible study and a determined effort to comprehend the truths displayed.

FOCUS ON DISCIPLESHIP

Here at CBBI, our staff is committed to developing young people who will be servant leaders in their churches. Each student is adopted into a staff family where they are encouraged, edified, and entertained! Many of our staff invite students over for meals, game nights, Bible studies, and more. We desire for each student to see real life examples of the joy of serving the Lord.

FOCUS ON MINISTRY

We designate multiple Saturdays a year for ministry trips. Students will participate in bus days, rescue mission work, games at Harvest Fest, singing at revival meetings, and more. We desire to give students a broad view of serving the Lord. We want them to learn that serving God comes in many forms, and to open their hearts to any ministry to which God might lead.

FOCUS ON PERSONAL EVANGELISM

Each spring, the student body travels to New York City to spread the Gospel on the subways. Students are trained in advance to illustrate the Gospel message using simple visual illustrations. Our students and staff work side by side with local churches near Queens and Manhattan to distribute tracts, start one-on-one conversations, run children’s programs in the park, and invite people to church services. So many of our students return excited about how God opened the door for great conversations and even salvation decisions!

FOCUS ON THE LOCAL CHURCH

CBBI is a resource for the local church. Each class, society activity, dorm devotion, and service opportunity is designed to train young people to be servant leaders in their churches. Each student is required to attend a local church regularly, and find ways to serve. Many of our students teach Sunday School, Junior Church, sing in the choir, work in nursery, usher, and more. We also encourage our students to attend special meetings and soul-winning opportunities. Our students graduate prepared to serve in any area of need in their home churches.

STUDENT LIFE

Create memories that will last forever.

COMPETITION

Students can compete in many intramural sports during the year. Society groups go head to head in sports such as dodgeball, basketball, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, table games, indoor soccer, and more. The year culminates with an intense final scoring showdown to reveal the winning society.

ADVENTURES

Life at CBBI isn’t just about academics. Our staff and students love to explore Michigan and all the fun that each season brings. In the winter, we take the entire student body on a one-day ski trip to the beautiful Boyne Mountain Highlands Resort. Enjoy a day on the slopes skiing or boarding, complete with rental equipment, lessons from a pro, and food served all day. In the fall, Mackinac Island is our destination. Spend the day hiking, biking, shopping, relaxing, sightseeing, and most importantly, eating fudge!

FUN

There is so much to do when you attend a school located at Camp CoBeAc! From mini golf, lake activities, outdoor sports courts, to campfires, snow tubing, and broomball tournaments, you’ll never have a dull moment. Our year-round events also give students countless opportunities to minister in various camp departments.

FRIENDS

Not only will you grow in your knowledge of the Lord, you’ll form godly friendships that can last a lifetime! Devotional and prayer times in the dorm, society activities each week, and ministering together during retreats form bonds between students that are genuine and fun.
